Thank you all for your feedback and support this week! This update brings new melee affixes, LAN multiplayer, and Halloween-themed decorations, along with fixes for various bugs. Here’s what’s included:

⚔️ New Content

• New Melee Affixes: Added 11 melee-exclusive affixes featuring healing, damage reduction, combo stacking, increased attack speed, dodge counters, and AoE damage. Existing equipment affixes remain unchanged.

• New Supply Crates: Added lumber crates and metal crates with corresponding loot, and adjusted crate placement in certain areas.

• Halloween Decorations: Updated Halloween-themed decorations and seasonal appearances for selected characters, NPCs, and zombies.

🌐 Multiplayer & Lobbies

• LAN Multiplayer Support: Search for rooms, join via IP address, or set a room password.

• Switch Modes Freely: Switch between Internet and LAN modes directly from the main menu without restarting the game.

• Improved Lobby UI: Simplified room creation and search interfaces and fixed display issues.

• Multiplayer Bug Fixes: Fixed issues with LAN rooms not appearing in searches and synchronization getting stuck after joining a room.

• Version Information: Room lists now display game versions. Incompatible rooms remain visible, with prompts indicating whether the host or joining player needs to update.

• Performance Improvements: Reduced some performance overhead during multiplayer sessions.

🎒 Inventory & Items

• Improved the responsiveness of inventory and storage management, and fixed issues with moving items into storage and installing attachments.

• Fixed mouse position resetting when opening inventory interfaces, which could interfere with aiming after closing them.

• Locked items retain their locked status when picked up again after death.

• Newly picked-up stackable items can now stack with matching locked items in your inventory.

• Fixed incorrect crafting results for certain item recipes.

🧟 Combat & Teleportation

• BOSS AI Improvements: Fixed an issue where world BOSSes could remain stationary when attacked from a distance. BOSSes will now attempt to chase attackers and return to their normal behavior if they cannot reach them or leave their activity range.

• Stamina Recovery Fix: Fixed an issue where stamina recovery cooldowns failed in multiplayer, causing stamina to recover immediately and continuously after dodging.

• Improved Teammate Teleportation: Improved teleport landing positions and fixed players getting stuck above indoor teammates or on rooftops.

• Corpse Fixes: Fixed missing death markers for clients and corpses failing to disappear after all loot was collected.

• Improved Corpse Collision: Air walls can now block corpses, reducing the chance of BOSS corpses rolling into water and becoming difficult to retrieve.

🏆 Achievements & Saves

• Achievement Fix: Fixed the “Construction Chicken” achievement. Both individual building repairs and one-click repairs now count toward progress.

• Updated Text: Added and corrected multilingual text, including descriptions for new affixes and related interfaces.

Save Compatibility: Existing save files remain compatible.

💡 Reminder: Before playing multiplayer, make sure the host and all joining players have updated to the same game version.

Thanks again to all our Chicken Survivors for your support and feedback! If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, feel free to join our Discord and let us know.

We’ll continue listening to your feedback and working to improve the game. Have fun, everyone! 🎃

Thank you all so much for your thorough feedback and incredible support this week! We've rolled out a massive overhaul to the co-op experience (a huge shoutout to every single chick who sent in feedback—your handles are now officially logged in our Special Thanks list!), alongside fixing a wide range of bugs. Here are the patch details:

• Gear & Controls

  • Brand-New Affixes: Added 24 new gameplay mechanic affixes (including knockback, auto-reloading, dodge rolling, damage reduction, and resource yield boosts) to allow for far more diverse builds.

  • Batch Salvage: Now supports batch dismantling equipment by rarity, with smart safeguards that protect locked gear and quest items—no more accidental salvages! (Special thanks to @东藜之下, @_Mufan, @留下你的脑袋!)

  • Lossless Repair: Repairing equipment no longer deducts maximum durability! We’ve even retroactively restored the lost durability caps on your older gear! (Special thanks to @Muzzled cat, @Always online!)

  • Control & Feel Improvements: Polished responsiveness when dragging items, selecting ammunition, and moving, while resolving related micro-stutters and crashes. (Huge thanks to all our fellow chicks for this one!)

• Co-op & Quests

  • Shared Stash: Added a co-op shared stash; stored resources and supplies are automatically saved alongside the host's save file. (Special thanks to @鱼鱼, @咩呀, @晚风轻飘, @鹿目まどか, @待白芍花开!)

  • Independent Quests: Players can now progress personal questlines and claim rewards independently; NPC dialogue sequences and quest items are now evaluated per individual player. (Big thanks to all co-op squads out there!)

  • Scene Teleportation: Client players in co-op sessions can now properly utilize map fast travel, complete with safe drop points and smooth movement recovery upon arrival. (Special thanks to @人生何处不青山, @有事联系微信, @红袖惜红泪!)

• Hordes & Map

  • Horde AI Pathfinding: Optimized enemy logic when engaging blocking structures; zombies will no longer blindly circle around flank routes or get stuck in awkward spots. (Special thanks to @留下你的脑袋, @苏 某。!)

  • Balance Tuning: Adjusted enemy scaling curves, mercenary revive costs, slot machine payout probabilities, and drop rates for select resources.

  • Map Updates: Updated visual aesthetics across the map, refined quest waypoint indicators, and rebalanced spawn locations for certain materials and enemy types.

• Lobby & Stability

  • Network Stability: Polished cross-platform lobbies, friend invites, password-protected rooms, and in-game voice chat performance.

  • Bug Fixes: Resolved issues causing lobby join failures, sudden voice disconnects, and various exit flow hiccups. (Special thanks to @蘑菇c!)

  • Save Security: Bolstered action validation, periodic auto-saves, reconnect sync, and backup recovery routines; legacy save files remain fully compatible. (Special thanks to @-, @11!)

💡 Friendly Reminder: We recommend backing up your save files prior to updating. When playing co-op, please ensure all party members have updated to the exact same version, and have the host recreate the lobby!

A massive thank-you as well to everyone who reported those weird and wild bugs—we truly appreciate all of your support and love for the flock!
