GAME RELEASE — OCTOBER 2

Oct 1

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s finally happening: After countless twists, turns, and unexpected setbacks, I can finally press the “publish game” button. You’ll be able to crack your pack as early as tonight, since the game releases at 6 PM (UTC+2).

I’m incredibly stressed out. This is the first time I’m releasing a game to the general public, and whatever happens, I’m proud of the result. I sincerely hope that the few hours of gameplay will at least give you a good time, and if they do, feel free to leave a Steam review to show your support <3

Also, feel free to join the studio’s Discord to share your experience and/or report any bugs you encounter! https://discord.gg/3KsFnCUeQ

Other languages will be coming in the next few days (especially Japanese).

Have fun cracking it!

Doigt.

Hotkeys not working

The "E" and "R" hot keys work but the "Q" and "W" do not, also when I click half the time it clicks out of the game even tho it is fullscreen or borderless... definitely needs to bug fixes

Release delayed pending Steam approval!

Sep 30

Hello!

The game was originally scheduled to release on September 29th, but the release will be delayed as Steam is taking longer than expected to approve my build. Their maximum review time should normally be today, although I unfortunately can't guarantee that.

As soon as I get Steam's approval, I will release the game that same evening at around 7 PM (Europe time).

Sorry for the delay, and thank you for your understanding!

There's no good reason for Bankruptcy to exist

There's already a roulette option to get Nothing, and that's fine, but getting a giant win of duplicating God packs only to conclude with a bankruptcy off the last card is just the worst feeling.

Bankrupcty rate change/rework?

Rates feel a tad too high, not worth it to stamp at all in the late game

Fix the resolution

Can't even change out of fullscreen since the resolution is all messed up unless you have a widescreen monitor

I don’t really play this type of game, and never expected it to hook me as much as it did!
The gameplay’s lovely, and the music is the exact kind of repetitive earworm needed to accompany the creator’s very peculiar humor, which shines through every card of the collection!

Don’t open this game if you’ve got anything you need to be doing in the next 4 hours. Heed my warning… Or don’t. After all, I don’t regret a minute spent on Crack the Pack.

Though I did get the Bankrupt RNG like 4 times in a row. Life’s tough, man…
(Also great to play on a XP Pen tablet!)
