It's... Okay. This is again why I wish Steam had a "Meh" option. It's a relatively good incremental game. Solid actually, but the nice things about incremental games is the benefit of Prestige. This games Prestige is honestly... super mediocre. Some of the benefits are: 20% NPC damage, 40% NPC atk speed, stuff costs 20% less, and stuff to do with item drop rates and income boosts.

But why would I reset my entire run when I'm 3 hours deep... for one upgrade that does the most basic meh upgrade... especially a one time upgrade, not even something I can actually incrementally build up. I would essentially need to hit wave 4 stage 1, clear it, and ONLY then would I feel it would be somewhat worthwhile to prestige for 10 total "DNA" strands. the game caps at Wave 5 Stage 3 which makes a total of 15 DNA... So with that other 5 DNA... I wouldnt even bother resetting to use it. It would be an absolute waste at that point...

2.5/5? I guess? The Prestige system needs an overhaul and it needs to be more friendly or more incremental than an Idler.

edit: figured it out, i was playing in windowed mode and the "call the horde" button was hidden by the taskbar

am i stupid? yes, i am

it says "to proceed further you must defeat wave 1 of the horde" but i've purchased every upgrade i can and i ive been killing zombies for 2 hours and i still dont understand how to complete wave 1

i still like the game tho

Fun idle game where you kill zombies, upgrade your defenses, unlock skills, and watch your setup turn the undead into shredded leftovers. The progression is satisfying, and it's a pretty laid back experience if you enjoy idle games where you can sit back and watch your upgrades do the work. The game also has a prestige mode that lets you reset your progress for bonuses, but honestly, I didn't even need it to beat the game or unlock all the achievements. Everything was manageable without it. For $4.79, I spent around 5.5 hours beating the game and getting 100% achievements. Not bad at all! I now have more hours in this game than I do in CODMW4. Let that sink in. A cheap idle zombie game managed to hold my attention longer than Call of Duty.
