10.26 update v0.8.0.4

Oct 26

v0.8.0.4 Patch Notes

New features:

Cloud saves added.

Bug fixes:

Fixed a bug where some overseas players or players using special system languages could not launch the game (for example, in environments such as French, German, and Russian, where the decimal separator is a comma, raw data could not be recognized).
Ah Fei and Wang Hengli both have the "Thief" skill. In previous versions, they could try to steal the same item, and the later one would error out when there was nothing left to steal.
Similarly, the character Shuangshuang intended to eat and the character Xiangdangdang intended to invite to the team could also be the same person. This has now been fixed.

Visual issue fixes:

Fixed overlapping between sub-panels of the Alt information panel.
Fixed a bug where the panel animation would twitch when the player's cursor stayed at a specific position on the curio panel in the Mysterious Bubble.

Sound volume adjustments:

Reduced the volume of tool sound effects such as the Screaming Chicken and Loudspeaker.
Reduced the volume of some sound effects in the Mileage Ticket settlement UI.
Reduced the volume of fog/ghost fog weather sound effects in the treetop region.

Other improvements:

Initially shortened the early-game flow: "Recharge" and "Mysterious Trader" are now unlocked by default; techs such as "Supply Rescue," "Mysterious Bubble," and "Safe Extraction" have been moved earlier in the tech tree unlock conditions.
Tools such as the Screaming Chicken and Loudspeaker can now wake unconscious passengers faster.
Device target acquisition now actively filters out ordinary ground clutter (more threatening obstacles, such as barricades, will still be treated as valid targets by Devices).
Bosses no longer take damage before their health bar appears.
The "FireQuiver" Device has been renamed to "Gear Box." Its operation panel and projectiles now use a brand-new appearance to better distinguish it from bow/crossbow Devices that can use the "Quiver."

【反馈 / 建议 / Bugs】非官方汇总帖 (Feedback Roundup)

⚠️Very IMPORTANT update for NONE-CHINESE language users⚠️

Oct 25

⚠️If you don't have any launching problem, please ignore this message.

⚠️Uninstall and reinstall will cause the deletion of your save data. Please backup the save data.

We fixed the problem that you might not be able to launch the game.

This is due to our install file had Chinese characters in it and it might cause your system not be able to read it.

Please uninstall and reinstall the game again. After you download the newest version, the file should be named all in English.

Really sorry about the previous problems. Thank you for all your support and patience.

If there still be any launching problems, please reach out to us via discord or email: https://[email protected]

Thank you very much.

10.25 update v0.8.0.3

Oct 25

v0.8.0.3 Patch Notes

Steam support:

Cloud save support is being added and tested, and will be implemented in a future update soon.

Bug fixes:

Fixed bugs related to the Quiver and Spare Magazine Set.
Fixed a bug where the boss would be directly removed when too far from the player.
Fixed a bug where the vehicle loadout preview window did not update in time.
Fixed a bug where Device slots were incorrectly highlighted in the shop.
Fixed an abnormal black screen bug.
Fixed the passenger position swapping bug again.
Fixed a bug that could cause Rolling Logs to trigger ground-hit effects infinitely.
Fixed a behavior bug with the Giant Tumbleweed.
The energy bar displays the wrong percentage in safe zones.

Other improvements:

Added a percentage display to the left of the remaining energy in the top right corner.
Increased the targeting angle range for the Net Cannon's auto-fire detection.
Added a 5-second cooldown to save deletion.
Boss kill drops will no longer be randomly destroyed on defeat.
Circular Saws and Drills now also benefit from melee Device size increase effects.
Upon reaching the end of a scene, remaining drops in the scene are immediately added to the inventory.
Limited the total number of projectiles in a scene (currently set to 150). When the limit is reached, the projectile farthest from the player will be randomly removed. Considering players' varying setups, this parameter will be opened up in the settings panel in the future.
Updated the operation panel for the Double-Blade Guillotine.
Greatly increased the critical rate of the Short Dagger (still trash in practice, but less trash than before)!
Slightly reduced the length of the tutorial level's presentation.
Improved the information display for tech nodes.

Early Access Review

Since there's no English reviews here's a quick one

Game is fully playable in English, when you get to main menu, go to settings (gear icon bottom left) Then select EN at top left.

Typical Roguelite gameplay loop, do a run, die or return early, use resources for meta progression.

Trailer shows the main gimmick, each weapon/component needing to be used from the bottom of the screen. But in the run you can assign companions to those to do the work for you.

For early access, seems to be a decent amount of meta progression available, and 4 levels to go through, each level appears to have 3 bosses. One you defeat the 1st boss it unlocks additional meta progression and the next level.

Probably turn off the music for your own sanity.

Give it a shot, you'll know if you like it or not within the return window.
