It's really a niche game, but it does a lot of things right. I like the choice of cities representing clubs, and the way the game keeps track of talent and players. It has a lot of depth once you get to know it, and a lot of potential if the developer keeps updating it. An editor would be a nice addition.

In a world where AI slop is a thing, I actually believe this is the good side of it. However, the devs need to be active. I'll keep my positive review because the game does a lot of things right, and I want to see how active and responsive the devs are.

This seemed like a good idea at first, especially for those who like detailed management games. Setting up a full youth academy sounds like fun! I wanted to like it. Unfortunately, it felt too much like AI slop to me.

Everything in the game felt too bland and disconnected. Each part seemed complete enough in isolation, but nothing came together. Random generic city names from different regions around the world played against each other in one league. Random blobs and shapes were used to represent money, the dialogue was bland, and there was no sound. Little touches like humor, color, or even interesting tooltips were missing.

I generally like management games, but all these little things (and more) just made it irritating to continue to play. I asked for a refund in under an hour's play, because it just felt too generic. There was nothing that drew me in, or made me feel like I wanted to make this youth academy thrive. It felt like a worksheet, with most of the interesting bits taken out.

Nevertheless, if you really like management, there were a lot of detailed options that I never got to, so you may like those. As long as you can handle AI blandness, it should be fine, I suppose. It was not for me!
