RIP NVIDIA + GAMERS 2006-2026

This 'game' must be Nvidia's idea of a cruel joke. It takes 15GB for what is essentially a glorified 90-second promo video. Then it crashes, repeatedly. Eventually it will run, albeit horribly.

The GPU recommended to 'play' this is an RTX 5080... a card NVIDIA doesn't even sell anymore, because AI. But back when they would sell you this card, it cost more than the entire PC shown in this 15GB promo video!

Nvidia doesn't care about us anymore. Nvidia is where it is today because they made hardware gamers wanted. Now Nvidia has forgotten we exist. Unless you have $10,000 to spend on a GPU they want nothing to do with you. They'd rather rent remote access to a gaming PC than sell you the card to build your own. Thanks to Nvidia and their billionaire AI tech bros, the hobby we grew up with is unaffordable. In 2006 we could afford to put more memory in our computers than Windows knew what to do with. Today Windows needs more memory than anyone can afford. NVIDIA is now part of the problem.

It's a good thing Nvidia reminded us that 20 years ago you could actually afford a graphics card, whereas now cards cost $10,000 Bravo Nvidia. Btw nice 15 fps in this demo

It's impressive how NVIDIA wants to bring nostalgia on something they can't make anymore not because they can't but because they don't want to, and that's a good GPU, this is how they repay all their customers that bought and chose NVIDIA for all these years, ruining the pc market, making RAM and GPUs expensive ash, and then proceed to post a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ demo. Anyways wish them good luck on their AI ♥♥♥♥ and even if the stock market is falling, i hope it plummets completely.
