Ok, the game is good. It's very good actually, but there is definitely room for improvement. I spent about 10 minutes on the first level trying to water plants and then eventually left it as my last task to do because I could not for the LIFE of me figure out I needed to fill the watering can first, especially when there's droplet particles already falling out when you try to use it. The lack of written explanation for this and cleaning of cobwebs only being unlocked via spell is unfortunately bad game design. Another problem I've run into is struggling with readability of text... a zoom feature would be much appreciated. I'm honestly shocked it wasn't included in the game in the first place. I hope with future updates these issues are resolved because I would love to see this game succeed! In a world of ai slop (especially in this genre) we need more games made by real artists. I love the art and designs in this game so much, and it feels so much more satisfying to sort unique items instead of the generic assets I see in many games like this.

Delightful game, played it on my birthday with a couple of friends and it was a perfect 4 hours of chilling, talking and tidying everything up together. The vibes are immaculate, the character design is charming, the variety in items is stunning and on top of all of that - it's human made!!!!! I look forward to updates in the future and hopefully more levels :)

So before anything else - it seems to be pretty much AI free - unless I missed something, which is already a great start. At no point did I go "Oh wait, is that AI?" and I do come from an art background and am definitely not the worst at spotting AI.

Gameplay and mechanics;
Mechanics are very easy to pick up. There is not much besides just picking up items, and finding the right place for them. Though there are diagrams inside the different rooms (there are 3 different levels at the moment but more coming in the future!) you can also unlock abilities to help find the items easier, have them come to you, have the correct shelf highlighted - very similar feel to Librarian Tidy Up if you've played that.

Levels and Design
So there are 3 different rooms, that each unlock after you finish the previous one. The first room is sorting tarot cards, which has the minor and major arcana - I did spot a review from someone else mentioning that the major arcana was not in the right order but I also saw that the devs had responded and fixed that issue by the time I even downloaded the game - essentially - small things that need improvement but the devs are on it - and as well, at time of writing, it's not even been out for 72 hours yet.

Level 2 was wands, which essentially amped up the category types - I noticed that though colour is one of the ways to differentiate between items, all items did have their own unique symbols, which I guess would make it colour-blind friendly - but at the same time, I am not colour blind myself, so I can guess.

Level 3 was potions, much bigger room (if you can even call it a room, it was a massive multi-floor space), and again had a great time sorting and tidying.

Each level also had their chests that needed keys hidden in the levels to unlock that would help unlock new abilities. You were also able to unlock new abilities by finishing areas/shelves and get skill points, and then use those skill points to level up - again quite similar concept to Librarian!

Design wise - I think it's great! Of course it's not your Cyberpunk 2077 or GTA 6, but in the world of tidying and sorting games - this is for sure a step up and it does not feel like I am playing 'cheap junk' if I were to say it in a very harsh way - the items and graphics actually have colour variations and textures to them, not just a plain colour that you see just a bit too much in new games nowadays.

Any other notes
The game has just been released, but for just being out, it's in a great place! One thing to note is that the UI was in the wrong location, but I am also playing on an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440) so that complicated things a bit more, but at no point was I missing out on essential information because of this issue. Did I finish the game in one evening/ Yes absolutely, but it absolutely sucked me into my "brain off, relax time" mode late at night and I didn't turn off my PC until like 5 in the morning, and the 2 hours of sleep only was worth it. I can't wait to see more levels come out!

Overall, I would give this game a solid 8.5/10 right away - Good graphics, smooth gameplay, easy to jump right into it, and I felt so nice and relaxed throughout the whole game.
