I truly cannot fathom some of these negative reviews. I really enjoyed the game but I want to combat some of the critique that I've seen posted here.

= I Don't See the Problem Here =
1. "I can't place some tiles down/tiles are glitching": Personally, I only experienced this once in an entire playthrough, and simply moving a little fixed it... I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but I question the severity of which people are claiming it occurs.

= Misunderstandings or Lies? =
2. "The G key seems pointless!": Yes, the tutorial is vague on what it's purpose is, but it took me about ten seconds to figure out the difference between left clicking with a tile vs. pressing g then left clicking with a tile. The first one places the tile down if your cursor is hovering over the correct place. The second one just sets the tile down anywhere because it's meant for stacking matching tiles together before you place them down properly.

3. "The FOV is too narrow and I have no option to widen it": There is literally an FOV slider in the options menu. I have mine set to max width and it's great, but the default FOV didn't actually seem out of the ordinary to me.

4. "The music is the same as Librarian": Assuming this is referring to the incredible game "Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!", I personally didn't notice any identical music. However, even if there is or was an identical track in this game and in "Librarian", the developers of "Librarian" purchased those songs from FAB, a creator marketplace to buy licensed content, meaning it doesn't actually belong to them and it is possible that the creators of this game also purchased a license to use the same songs. Or the songs are actually not the same. Either way, there's nothing wrong with it.

In conclusion, as someone who has been playing these "tidy up" style games for a while now and have almost a dozen of them completed, this is a solid tidying up game! It took me many hours to complete, so I would say it is certainly worth the 5$ cad I paid for it.

I would LOVE if the developer continues to add things to the game over time, but I would be perfectly fine if the game remained as it is right now. 8/10 from me.

buggy af. pavers don't register, then theres just straight up spots where you're supposed to put something but cannot.

Okay. so
I want to say i don't dislike this game.
however
there are some things that are so infuriating about it that it almost makes me want to drop it. And they're small, granted, but speak to like... I dunno, a lack of interest in actual game design as far as skill progression goes.

here are the things that i find inexplicable:
There is a layout map located in the front.
ok. that would be cool and fine... if the layout wasn't just ON THE GROUND. ITS ON THE GROUND, ITS JUST HIGHLIGHTED ON THE ACTUAL GROUND
and that would also be fine if there was a way to turn off that ground overlay, for extra challenge. but there isn't. its just.... a.... map.
and you know what, that would honestly just strike me as a bit odd. But theres a skill unlock you have to pay for with your points

didn't you say that the ground is already highlighted with the paver patterns and colors?

which brings me on to my next point of irritation, and probably the thing that sends me the most.

give the player the option to buy skills... when you cant. choose. the skills. you pay for.
i mean in the technical sense you do have a _choice_. but you don't get to CHOOSE to unlock the stupid F*&^ing layout map, you have to buy it in order to get access to the skill that lets you carry more pavers. you can't skip the skill that puts the pavers on the ground for you magically so you can save points for the skill that lets you magically pick up the pavers. you have to buy the skills you have no interest in. including the stupid skill that highlights the highlighted ground.

this is a clean up game. if you like clean up games indiscriminately you will like this one.
but there are far, far, far better ones with far, far, far better gameplay elements.
Arcane library is still one of the best ones. Shelve the potions is cute and has a unique spin. The person who made teddy's haven has a cleanup game using the teddy's haven assets that is also very competent. I suggest those over this trite, shallow product.
