Every Sealed Inscription gives one Vigil Mark, always, plus one reward from the table below. The odds are the same for everyone. A cosmetic you already own leaves the draw and its chance is shared among the other rewards; the chance of the Right of Return never changes.
The Right of Return arrives as a Reliquary of Return in the Consumables tab of your backpack. When you open it, you pick one of the four looks of the Linen Eṭemmu, the event companion. The chance is 0.3% per chest, and every opening is its own independent roll. That is why every Inscription also gives a Mark: no opening comes up empty. The Eṭemmu only comes from playing.
Vigil Marks are only earned by playing, and in the event shop they buy Kug from Clay to Silver, Ritual Fuel, Fusion Ward and Reinforce Ward.
