2MRB is a MARSOC-led task force made up of various US military assets collected by USSOCOM, in coordination with the CIA and DHS; to advance the war on terrorism in three fronts:
Regime change of terrorist friendly states,
unconventional warfare against known terrorist groups worldwide,
disruption of the operational systems and finance systems these groups have developed to forward their agendas.
