Civilization V Mercury Community

Civilization V Mercury Community is a new active group made in May 2018 with the function of grouping players in custom games who want to play a match until the end without worrying about leavers and mods installations.
One of the secondary but not less important goals of this community is to unite people with the same passions and why not? form new friendships! Always remember that every game is more beautiful if played with your friends!
Everyone will be free to decide whether to play talking in our community teamspeak or just chilling without join the voice chat.


Do not expect that the games are created by themselves or that the players fall from the sky, if you want to organize a custom the easiest way is to enter the group chat and ask if anyone is available, obviously the group was created recently so the chat it's not very active yet and this why I need your help to grow the community!

You can leave the game only in the following cases:

* You lost your capital city

* The players through a unanimous vote decided that the game has come to an end

* All players agree that your civilization is out of any kind of victory and therefore no longer indispensable with the continuation of the game

* Problems in real life (Problems can happen to everyone but if you leave 5 times in 5 games, you will be subjected to checks that could permanently exclude you from the community)

A player has disconnected / crashed what should we do?

* The host must leave the game and re-load from the last turn, invite the others players and wait a maximum of 15 minutes after which the players can decide to continue the match. If this happens before the 50th round the players can decide that the game is scrapped and then start a new one.

Almost or all the players are lagging and crashing what should we do?

* The host must exit and invite the other players, if after the loading the game is still stuck a player must quit and re-join to the game (this should unlock the game). If problems persist and the situation becomes frustrating, players are free to decide that the game is scrapped.

We have lost contact with a player causes disconnection what should we do?

* The meeting point is the community Discord or the Steam group chat.

A player has left and I want to report it, what should I do?

Make a new post in our steam forum,remember to press F12 while in game to have a screenshot as a proof.
