A Duplication Exploit For DOTA's Most Expensive Items Has Crippled The Market - Do Not Support Dupers

2. Tens of Thousands of Items Affected With At LEAST 29,000 Duped Rare Items Totalling Millions of Dollars In Counterfeit Rare Ethereals / Roshans
    
3. Do NOT Buy "Discounted" Bugged Ethereal Items - They may seem like a good deal but those items are being price controlled by a group of dupers and are worth a fraction of what you will pay. Even $500 for a bugged hero item is too high.
   
   
4. It is also not certain whether these duped items are safe to keep in your account, which is another reason to avoid dealing with these Chinese Duplicators even if they offer a "good deal"

There has been an ACTIVE DUPLICATION BUG being abused for many months by a few individuals with limited / no action from valve to protect your items - and that "limited group" has ballooned into a large group of dupers with the method being sold, shared or stolen between factions of dupers.

They have cloned roshans, gems, ethereal items, possibly crimsons and arcanas.They might be able to duplicate ANY item in Dota or Steam.
