Alberta & Beyond at the Game Discovery Exhibition is a digital and in-person celebration of indie games made in Alberta or are displayed at GDX. Taking place from July 17–26 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this 10-day event is North America's largest indie games event by attendance.

Alberta is home to more than 200 game studios, with over 100 locally owned and operated right here in the province. From cozy and narrative-rich experiences to pulse-pounding action and cutting-edge VR, our devs cover it all. We're thrilled to showcase some of the best titles created by Alberta-based developers alongside standout games from international indie studios featured at GDX.

Join over 125,000 attendees in person in uplifting and celebrating independent studios, especially those that are underrepresented, underestimated, and undeniably talented.
