Enlist into the 42nd Pennsylvania today!

Historic Information

The 13th Pennsylvania Reserve Regiment, also known as the 42nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, the 1st Pennsylvania Rifles, Kane's Rifles, or simply the 'Bucktails', was a volunteer infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. It was a part of the famed Pennsylvania Reserve Division in the Army of the Potomac for much of the early and middle parts of the war, and served in the Eastern Theater in a number of important battles, including Antietam, Fredericksburg, and Gettysburg.

Regiment Information

We are a North & South regiment for Mount & Blade that was formerly known as the 1st Kansas Volunteer Infantry. However we have changed names since we have fought under the Kansas flag for a very long time. We felt like it was time to change things up. We chose the 42nd Pennsylvania because of their rich history in the American Civil War. We are apart of the Eastern Iron Brigade within the Dixieland Community for the North & South mod. We also attend as many events as we can and are always open for new members.

Questions

If you have any questions involving the Regiment or the Mod please contact one of the Officers or NCOs. We're always there to help.

RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

A "New" Steam Group

August 25, 2019 - grimmy_meadows | 0 Comments

First off, hello to all 42nd Pennsylvania and 1st Kansas Veterans

If you haven't noticed already, the Regiment still exists. However it is active in another Steam Group.
This one is a bit outdated and therefor it will formally be deleted.
That is the whole point of this announcement, this group has been a ruin for the past 2 years ish.

I'll go straight to the point:

For those who are still interested in keeping the legacy of the Regiment alive

Here is a link to the new Steam Group - 42nd Pennsylvania Volunteers
You'll be welcomed back with open arms and hopefully we'll go on to create more amazing and memorable moments that make this Regiment what it is.

And for those who wish to retire completely or switched over to another Regiment

I wish to thank you personally for your service and all the amazing years you've given me and the other members of the Regiment weather it was through some silly jokes or an amazing event, you've really made this Regiment shine.

Our regiment might not be at it's prime anymore, but we're still a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention we're a regiment that is trusted within the community and a regiment that has dedicated a lot of it's time to keeping North and South alive. It's amazing what we have accomplished. Maybe we'll still be able to accomplish even more amazing feets, only the future will tell.

1 or 2 days will be given after this post until this Steam Group disbands in favour of the new one.

Yours Sincerely,
Major Grimmy ~
