NEW TRADE PROTECTION

Hello, few hours ago an update came to the CS2 that affects trading features.

"Trade protected items" - these items are possible to reverse from trade 7 days after the deal is done. To be able to do this, the items need to be trade protected.
As I understand this, trade protection shouldn´t be possible when you are trading with different game items (possibly gems too) which would make them irreversible.

However that´s only my understanding and it can be wrong, please be sure that before doing any cash trades learn about this to prevent yourself from getting scammed, as the seller could potentionally revert those items.

I lost two 100€ knives (Sharked) and the best Neck Deep music kit (Fake gambling site).
I got sharked out of a Poseidon (Minimal Wear), and a friend scammed me out of an M4 Masterpiece I was lending to him. But now, it's been almost two years since I lost any items :)

Maybe I could have owned a Dragon Lore by now, considering all the stuff I’ve lost.

Pro tip: Enable Family Sharing on your account to add an extra layer of security with a second password.
