The Tex Murphy Series: Sci-Fi, Mystery, Noir, & Adventure

This is a fan group.

The Kickstarter for Tex Murphy: Killing Moon Rising, a full remake of the 1994 classic, Under a Killing Moon, has been successfully funded, but you can still Late Pledge for available rewards!

  • Releases on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, & XBOX Series X
This project is being created with the support of Chris, Aaron, Doug, Mat, & Yuval!
A successful campaign will help open the door to additional projects in the series!

Miss the Kickstarter? Late Pledging Is Available!

Did you miss the Killing Moon Rising Kickstarter, wanted to help out, and wanted to get some awesome rewards? You're in luck! Late Pledging Is available for the Killing Moon Rising Kickstarter campaign! You can still pledge to any reward tier, as long as that tier is still available.

An ending date for Late Pledging has not been announced, so to be safe, you may want to back the project sooner than later. As of now, an additional $16,832 has been raised through Late Pledges, bringing the current total to $476,023!

The following stretch goals have been achieved:

  • Additional puzzles
  • An expanded Moon Child segment (inspired by the novel)
  • Releases on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, & XBOX Series X
If you backed at the Novice Detective tier or higher (at least $15 to $17), then you should have received a Steam key on July 16th for the Tex Murphy: Killing Moon Rising - Act 1 Playtest. It is a playable alpha demo of Day 1. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it, contact the Killing Moon Rising team through one of the links below.

We have made it past $450,000, so Killing Moon Rising will be coming to consoles! Thank you to everyone who donated!

If you haven’t already pledged… the Kickstarter campaign ends in 30 minutes! This campaign will allow Late Pledges, but the tier amounts for awards will cost you 10% more. This could be your last chance to get a boxed copy of the game or get your likeness into the game itself!
