Looks like the first "big" update is underway for L4D... the Survival Pack will include a new multipayer mode called Survival (no details on this mode besides a name, so speculate to your heart's content) [EDIT: Ok, Valve has just said that Survival mode will pit four players against wave after wave of Infected over 12 maps, competing for the highest score], adding Dead Air and Death Toll campaigns to Versus mode, and adding the SDK for modders to hopefully put out some cool new stuff. The update will be free for PC folks and will be available sometime this spring...
