RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hey Kiddies
Vigilante Announcements
In order to keep players updated and in tune with Vigilante updates and announcements, I will resume posting announcements on Steam through the Beta Squad of The Unforgettable Fancies.

I encourage you to post and announce things too, like system ideas, song ideas (both created and suggested), Bestiary elements, and/or other such lore. This game is not just my own creation anymore -- I may do all the algorithmic things and write the book, but there's a whole world out there now that's been influenced by you.

Updates
There have been so many updates since about a year ago the last time I made an announcement. You should be relatively caught up by now.

Servers
Vigilante is separated into four different Roll20 servers, if you can believe it.

  • Vigilante [app.roll20.net] This is the primary game server. Play the game here every Friday at 6:00PM (Mountain Standard Time). The Bestiary is also stored here, unlocked as the characters further explore.
  • Character Vault [app.roll20.net] Go to this server to create new characters, handouts, or even maps if you want. Here you will also find dead characters as well as a memorial to The Fancy Assassin. Be sure to request GM mode in order to access creation.
  • Rulebook [app.roll20.net] This server contains all the handouts on rules for the game, still a work in progress of course, and everything is subject to change. There is also a semi-functioning loot table as well as a comprehensive GM screen from other RPGs.
  • Development Server [app.roll20.net] Nothing more than a testing server. Visit here if you want a sneak peak at any new character sheet additions.

Roll20 Character Vault
The Roll20 Character Vault is a separate system made by Roll20 themselves. All four Vigilante servers have the Character Vault accessible because I have the Pro subscription. You can import characters from the Vigilante Character Vault and then export them to any other Vigilante server. Make use of this when you need a new character, that way I don't have to transmogrify your character.

Long Awaited Updates!
Digital Character Sheet
Updates to the Roll20 character sheet include:
- A sleeker, more organized skill page with collapsable categories and a short skill reference

- Hatred, Skill XP, and Quest XP now visible at the top no matter what page you are on

- Unneeded fields removed such as vehicle safetey and character physique

- Experience no longer counts skills and is instead only affected by checking XP, quest XP, and hatred

- Hunger, Thirst, and Sleep now START at 0 and continue to count UPWARDS in increments of days
- Armor crits removed, worthless

- Body part HP removed, unimportant

- Permanent effects section removed, just list ALL effects under the Status Effects sesction

- Notes expanded and is now beneath all sections on the character page

- Weapons now have a much nicer page with the Weapon Drawn checkmark much more neatly placed

Physical Character Sheet
The physical sheet is now so obsolete that an entirely new one needs to be created, which will take far too much time, so it's a good thing we won't need it!

System
Changes to the system are as follows:

- You may have noticed some differences in the skill listings:
>>> Some skills have been removed, replaced, or even moved around in the categories. For instance, Willpower is now in Contitution, Performance and Detection are now in Charisma, and Balance has been replaced with Dexterity.
>>> These changes have eliminated useless skills and put them in more appropriate categories, and thus we now have an even number of 6 skills in each category

- Experience no longer includes your skill scores. Instead you gain experience from upgrading skills and from completing quests. This means that the experience and level table will need to be redone. Dont worry about it for now, as I will compare the new one with your vurrent levels so that nothing will change.

- REVENGE. Hatred piles up and decreases your Sanity and Experience and applies other hindering effects. By taking revenge upon those who wronged you, you will lose Hatred and gain Vigilance. But, taking revenge will also decrease your Sanity, darken your reputation, and affect your Alignment. Choose who you kill and who you spare very wisely...

Others
- Roll20 webpage picture and description changed
- Music organized further
- By using the new token organizer, sprites for enemies, NPCs, and combat areas have been made with more being added each day
- Game Main Menu reorganized
