ABOUT Dice and Dummies

The place for the Dice Rollers and the Dummies

Hey, there are five of us now! And hardly anyone even cares anyway! Sorry to be bleak but seriously there is a lot wrong going around, hopefully this won't happen with this group, this is a way for everyone to experience a place away from the conflicts and evils of the world with friends enjoying an epic storyline. And if it isn't epic enough for you or it annoys you, bring it to me, I'll see what I can do.

THIS IS THE END!!!!!!!! - (nearly)
August 18, 2016 - Goosefrog | 0 Comments

Nearly 2 years after the start of our original groupings it is time to finish it off. All of this time is a huge investment for both you and me so it is really important that it is finished well. That is why I have put more thought and effort into these last moments than anything we ever did in the past. After all I have been planning the ending for about a year and a half.

It should deliver, giving resolution to characters, finishing off old enemies and giving each and every character (who survives) a fit and perfect ending. The beauty of this game is that even with all of my planning I don't know what will happen. This is the only game in existence where the villain could win and the heroes wouldn't get to go back and try again. That makes the game truly special and it makes every character worth it (even the dead and departed - though in a game like this who can say whether they are gone forever?).

Why am I getting sentimental? It has had good times and lots of meh times that have hurt, but then again, it is just a game. But when you put this much time into a game, an investment as I have already said, then everyone (everyone) deserves to have the finale they want. I can't please everyone if people want contradictory things but I will do my best.

Just remember that I have had little say in what has happened, little say in what is happening and little say in what will happen. The dice will always tell in the end.

The final dates are the 29th, 30th and 31st of August (the 31st only if we need it) and that gives us all the time we need to make a perfect ending to this game. Thanks

The Records of the Group
June 19, 2016 - Goosefrog | 0 Comments

I have always wanted to have a record of all of the things we have done in the group, but unfortunately I didn't start recording this until after Peadeler's demise and the arrival on the new island. What it means is that the first session I recorded is likely the worst one we ever had (mostly because it was the straw that broke the camel’s back and unfortunately meant that Mike decided to leave).
However everything since then has been kept under tight record including, the pirate missions, volcano assault, the arena, Sheila’s demise and all of the subsequent backstories. What this means is, we have a good record of what happened and anyone in the group who wants to listen to these now can. So please reply if you want these recordings sent to you (it can be done by Skype or Email) and I will send you all of the ones I have or specific ones if you so desire. This will paint a good picture of what the group has done so far even though I sincerely regret not starting this idea back when we started this because those were some of the best times we had. Thank you and please respond.
