WELCOME TO THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR

I made this group so that I could start reviewing games as a Steam Curator.

I tend to stick to what I know, so this is primarily what you can expect from me & this group.

* Old-school FPS games, often referred to now as "BOOMER SHOOTERS"
* True SURVIVAL HORROR, back when that genre label meant something
* The original IMMERSIVE SIMS, & those purportedly inspired by them

I'm not afraid of anything new though; you know what they say about "variety".

* NEW RELEASES that have caught my eye; worth the hype or second look?
* Totally unbiased takes on MULTIPLAYER GAMES I enjoy with friends ; )
* Casually reviewing games in UNFAMILIAR GENRES

Because I have an intense passion for GAMING HISTORY, I enjoy experiencing it for myself as, and when, I can. We stand on the shoulders of giants.

* Investigating gaming's iconic hits, genre-defining titles & cult-classics

If you like a cozy, rainy evening & atmospheric video games, you've found the right place to hang out.

I hope you enjoy your stay :)
