King George III formed his Royal Commonwealth Corps in 1801 by Royal Decree, in the face of escalating tensions in the European Continent, and the rise of Napoleone di Buonaparte (Yes, the French are that incompetent that their greatest leader was a budget Italian!).

The King, in his almighty wisdom, sought to mobilise and unite specially selected elite soldiers of his Empire under a combined banner - the Branded Stallion of The Royal Commonwealth Corps. His Majesty selected a group of battle-hardened creatures to lead this new force into battle - A Pious Cockwomble, an Angry Koala, a Dabbling Duck and an anthropomorphic Jar of Marmite.
