In regards to Summit & Swamp

Hello everyone,

First, I would like to apologize for the radio silence from me regarding Summit. I understand as the owner I should be keeping updates about the server open and frequent, but given the nature of the lawsuits, I've been refraining from doing so. I've kept communications between me and the other party private so that we both can talk at an equal level.

Second, given the news of Swamp's passing, I'd like to give a reminder that this server is NOT grounds to harass or dox or bully him. I've been away from Summit for a while, so I'm still thinking about what will be done to enforce this for the foreseeable future. But I want to make this clear to everyone: do not harass Swamp. Do not harass his family.

In regards to the Discord server: For the time being, all the channels have been locked and nobody can send messages in them, so that we all have time to process this.

Update on the Status of the Server

Hello everyone,

I'm making this announcement so that I can give some clarification on why the server is down, and what is being done to get it back online.

I have stated in the Discord that the server is offline due to a hosting issue. While this is true, it is a little bit more complicated than that, and the hosting provider is not the only reason for the server being offline for this long. The reason the server is still offline is due to an ongoing legal battle with another party. I likely will not provide many more details about it, as I wish to respect the privacy of the party.

I would like to state that legal battles take time, money, effort and have an emotional toll, and while I may have a lot of time and effort to dedicate to this project, my financial resources are being stretched thin and my level of stress has been increasing. As such, I have taken a much-needed break, but I would like to get the server up and running again ASAP. Some legal things need to happen before this occurs, however, which means we're still in the thick of it.

I do not have any plans of shutting Summit down. I understand how much the server means to a lot of people, myself included, and I know a lot of you are eager to hop back on. But I ask that you all stay patient as I sort things out.
