This is the best place to come for accurate, up-to-date information on the server, and it's an easy place for feedback and to interact with each other outside of Rust itself.

Details:

Untamed Wilds is a high performance server based in Montreal, QC and set on a large 4000 seed map. It is limited to 75 players maximum and never wipes unless forced by a developer update. This encourages a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and means you should keep your bases as long as possible.

Last forced map wipe: May 4th. Community rules:

No hacking.
No game bans. No VAC bans under 210 days, 1 max. 2 RustAdminDB bans max.
No racism, sexism, homophobia, Nazi ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, or other bigotry. Anywhere.
No malicious insults or obnoxious trolling to shock/get a reaction.
No disrespect towards the admin, the server, or the rules.
No attempt to bypass the rules on a technicality or lie to the admin.
No entitlement, freedom of speech, or arguing over rules in chat.
No base/entrance blocking or bringing more than 7 players to offensive raids/while roaming for PvP. For clarity on this, read the pinned discussion thread.

Send reports of rule breaking to [email protected] or Bladed Queen via Discord PM[discord.gg] and include any evidence. Screenshots and recordings are best. If you suspect hacking, I also advise reporting with F7 in-game and tweeting their Steam profile[imgur.com] to @rusthackreport.

Server Closure

Untamed Wilds will be closing indefinitely on June 1st, the day of the next forced wipe. This notification is being given a week in advance to avoid confusion and let players start searching for a new home.

I've come to this decision after progressively losing interest in Rust as a game, and the administrative side of running the server. My hope is that Facepunch will shift their development focus towards promoting cooperation and meaningful interaction between players (not offline raiding), but I don't see it happening quickly enough or in a systematically effective way.

If the server does reopen in the future, an announcement will be posted on the Steam community page. No offers of ownership transfer/new administration will be considered. Thanks for being part of this journey - February 2016 to June 2017.

Patch Update - Devblog 159

The server has been updated to the latest patch. I was unable to access a computer earlier, and thus the delay - this is a rare situation that shouldn't reoccur. Cupboards can now be locked and are no longer placeable on terrain, ladders and window covers can be picked up with building privilege and a hammer equipped, new mailboxes are added for leaving notes, the spear and crossbow are buffed, water jugs are back, fish traps and signs cost less, and improvements have been made to sound, animations, and graphics.

If you have trouble connecting, remember to close Rust and let Steam update your game client.

I am now hosting a server, you can find it under Untamed Wilds Reloaded. I will keep the name until such a time that Bladed Queen wishes to bring the server back offically. I am a fair but no nonsense kind of admin, just like Queen.
