NieR: Automata is not just a game — it's an experience that lingers with you long after the credits roll (all of them).You play as androids fighting for humanity in a ruined Earth, but that's only the surface. What starts as stylish action slowly transforms into one of the most ambitious, philosophical, and emotionally devastating stories I've ever played. Yoko Taro doesn't hold your hand. He trusts you. Multiple endings, perspective shifts, and revelations that completely reframe everything you thought you knew. By the time you reach Ending E… yeah. Just bring tissues.

The combat is satisfying and surprisingly deep thanks to the chip system. You can customize your android almost like a PC build. The game constantly switches genres and somehow it all works. It never gets boring. Exploration, side quests, and the open world are a bit weaker (some fetch quests feel filler-ish), but the main journey and key moments are strong that I didn't mind too much.

Soundtrack is an banger (Keiichi Okabe cooked absolute fire) Visuals are gorgeous and incredibly stylish, especially the character and machine designs. Voice acting (both JP and EN) is top tier. Only issues noticed, camera angle can be annoying in tight spaces and some side content is repetitive.
