Hades is an action rogue like title from Supergiant games, and where others fail Hades conquers all. Gameplay, story, setting, visual design, soundtrack, Hades excels in every aspect. Run to run this game always felt fresh always allowing multiple key decisions to be made every time you go through each run. Combine these meaningful choices with modifiers to build and challenge you at your own pace (for greater rewards), and you've got an addictive experience that is consistently engaging. Hades also has a more meta layered progression systems making each run a net gain in your overall power, and a a couple of build paths baked into that meta progression (aka aspects, and swapable mirror perks). The amount of content you get for the price with Hades is simply fantastic. The story is lengthy, and will take multiple completions of the main mode to complete. The art style is simplistic and detailed combining to make every location you visit unique and interesting to spend time in. So would I recommend Hades to a friend? This is one of the only games that I'd go out of my way to tell people to play. 10/10 a damn good time. Amazing work
