Before I knew your channel, I am a "play safe" type player in the game.
Fighting the AI by outnumbering them.
Now, I am routing enemy army of 6000 soldiers with just 2000 men, on land battle or siege defense.
The highest army I routed is probably 9000 men.
You showed me what is possible in this game lol 😂😂😂

I still think Empire was when the franchise went to ♥♥♥♥, and that Rome 2 was essentially just Empire on steroids, but I overall agree with you on the state of the Total War franchise today. I'd consider myself purely a historical player—just never cared about Warhammer or fantasy as a genre, really—but overall, I'll play whatever's interesting, and Total War hasn't been interesting in ages to me. Living under a rock like I do, the videos you've made have been most enlightening and reminding me why I haven't kept up with gaming "discourse" in so long. I look forward to your videos on Medieval 3 if it ever comes out. Until then, keep up the good fight, mate.

We may not agree on anything, but you are a gem for the Total War community. I really enjoyed your historical battle series and your campaigns, there is so much to learn from you! I also hope to see more podcasts with Legends and Pixelated_Apollo once you all get a new important topic to discuss.
