Imagine my surprise when the dude I watched roast CA for years turns out to be a great modder for Ostfront. I saw the dynamic crater cover mod and thought it was great, then I saw who made it and was shocked.

Your latest video was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece, mate. I'm still laughing over how you told off Andy's Piss Take—of course he moved over to Paradox. Paradox is pretty much just a Swedish version of CA. Just as money-grubbing, just as incompetent—nothing but shills all the way down. The Turks are really pissed at them right now—just like the Chinese were at CA after they bailed on TW3K. Honestly, you're not really missing much by avoiding them.

I also watched your "The next 10 years of Total War revealed at The Game Awards" stream again—there's a whole lot we agree on, much of which I've been thinking for a long time. Nice to know there's someone speaking hard truth on how things are lately. Thank you (and the others, of course) for everything you do. I look forward to the next video!

Before I knew your channel, I am a "play safe" type player in the game.
Fighting the AI by outnumbering them.
Now, I am routing enemy army of 6000 soldiers with just 2000 men, on land battle or siege defense.
The highest army I routed is probably 9000 men.
You showed me what is possible in this game lol 😂😂😂

I still think Empire was when the franchise went to ♥♥♥♥, and that Rome 2 was essentially just Empire on steroids, but I overall agree with you on the state of the Total War franchise today. I'd consider myself purely a historical player—just never cared about Warhammer or fantasy as a genre, really—but overall, I'll play whatever's interesting, and Total War hasn't been interesting in ages to me. Living under a rock like I do, the videos you've made have been most enlightening and reminding me why I haven't kept up with gaming "discourse" in so long. I look forward to your videos on Medieval 3 if it ever comes out. Until then, keep up the good fight, mate. :accord:
