—as seen on Tv.
Channel surfers, the
lips of broadcast
burning. Tangled in wires.

As seen on miles of highway,
and in empty cars moving to radio rhythms
like 99.9—the System.
Birds plummet into cups of the blind.
“You don’t need to see to drink young man”
Truth his. Death his. cocktail,
walking into a tired hallway.

An ocean of static swishes around in his mouth,
a curse bought in stores near you, as seen on Tv.
Play the game, watch the news, collapse in the street.
Get walked over. “It’s all a part of the process
young man.” A process born to end.
