This game is easily one of my favorite games of all time. (Big praise for such a small title)

♥ The game is based in Austria and you are there on "vacation" to defeat the dungeons that have mysteriously appeared in the region of Hinterberg.

♥ In each area there is exploring as well as unique and interesting puzzles; and on top of everything; rewarding, albeit simple, combat.

♥ There is a ton of story to discover in each area of the game;
all while getting collectibles, weapons, armor, attacks, and enchantments for your weapons and your character.
You can customize the outfits you wear, weapons/armor you want, and attacks you use throughout the game as you please. (although somewhat limited)

♥ There are relationships that work somewhat like a Persona game in the main hub of the game. (Hinterberg itself)
Some of the relationships are ones you wouldn't necessarily want to pursue, but every one has benefits along the way, and most of them are entirely skippable if that's not really your thing. (You can always fast forward any dialogue you don't care about)

♥It's not as big as The Legend of Zelda BoTW, but has a very similar vibe and game-play loop, and certainly scratches that dungeon exploring itch that all Zelda fans (including myself) know and love.

♥I highly recommend this game to those of you who enjoy exploring or doing puzzles in games.
It's a sleeper hit for sure. I've gotten far more enjoyment out of this game than most games I have in my library of 1000.

♥Of course, being as no game is perfect, Dungeons of Hinterberg has some issues with repetition in the enemy design and combat, grinding for specific loot and money, and some small character flaws. (but what game doesn't these days) and it's not something that really takes away from the overall amazing experience this game has to offer, in my opinion.

♥I picked the game up on sale for 15.99 USD but honestly knowing how I feel about it now, I'd easily spend the asking price of 30 USD, Possibly even more if there is any DLC released in the future.

♥ I rate the game a 9 out of 10 ♥

This game was phenomenal. Not too difficult to make you want to quit, but difficult enough to make you feel good about solving puzzles.

The languages are easy enough to understand through context, but complex enough to actually make sense in sentences as well (except bardic, because its structured differently than english speakers are use to)

The environmental puzzles aren't too difficult either, and the only things I had to search the internet to figure out were a couple of the endgame achievements. Otherwise, everything I was "stuck" on was just something I missed while exploring. I believe this game does a great job at giving you all of the information you need to actually beat it.

I've 100% completed the game in 14.4 hours while working at a particularly slow pace because I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game so much.

Genuinely will be recommending this to all of my friends who I think may have even the slightest interest in it.

9/10 because "idiots, bards are."

Update: 16 days later and I cannot stop thinking about how good this game is and how I wish I could play it for the first time again.
