Not if you increase the FOV and sit close to a really large display!
I can't believe how much screen space Batman takes up with the original console FOV. Not to mention that when moving around, Batman often goes partly off-screen.
If you turn the FOV up, you can see all of Batman at once, and he stays on-screen. And of course you can see much more of your surroundings, which helps immensely when fighting crowds.
Just remember, the higher the FOV, the closer you need to be to your screen in order to avoid distortion. Nowadays, my eyes are 18" - 24" away from a 55" screen, which means I can use a horizontal FOV as high as 110 - 130 without any visible distortion.
(The opposite is true as well--if you have a console game with a terribly low FOV, sit farther from your screen and it will seem less "zoomed in".)
