i play a lot of fps (mostly pve and boomer shooter) and roguelikes, though i'll play anything if its good, like story focused games or just any random fun game. i have a passion for game design and development.

the games in my game showcase are some of my personal favorites, warts and all. i am also deeply fascinated dreamlike / """liminal"""" stuff like yume nikki and things inspired by it. warning: i will give you the ted talk infodump on this subject if you ask me about it

i quite like prog rock/metal. dream theater and tool are goated for example. i am also a gizzhead (favorites are Petro and Rats Nest but i love B3000). i've been getting a lot into ambient, bull of heaven style stuff recently, artists like Piranesi or https://klein.bandcamp.com/ . i also like DnB/IDM, stuff like aphex twin, most internet genres ending in "-core", etc.

some achievements of mine in video games:
-made it to wave 92 in Ultrakill cybergrind (violent difficulty, made it 70 something on brutal difficulty)
-100%'d Hollow Knight Silksong on Steelsoul (no deaths) difficulty
-Obtained all 6 AI subroutines and defeated the Compiler in Marathon's Cryo Archive (during Season 1)
-Solo'd every single easter egg in call of duty black ops 3 zombies (shangri-la, ascension, SoE done with solo EE mod), black ops 4 zombies (except classified lol getting to round 150 is dumb), and cold war zombies. (WAW zombies note: i love cheese cube....)
-S ranked EVERY level in Hotline Miami 2 (both normal and hard difficulty)
-reached 7-99 in Spelunky 2, also #1 contributor to spelunky wiki, see https://spelunky.fandom.com/wiki/User:Bread1129
-beat Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy 50+ times
-did the pizza AND hat secret in Black Mesa, took them all the way to end of the game
