SkyUI

Description
Elegant, PC-friendly UI mod for Skyrim with many advanced features. All improvements seamlessly integrate with the style of the original interface. Version 5 includes better crafting, enchanting, alchemy and smithing menus and several other enhancements.

  • Convenient inventory management with a feature-rich panel that supports full-text search, sorting and extended data columns and replaces Skyrim's basic item lists.
  • Version 5 extends this to all menus, including crafting, enchanting, alchemy and smithing.
  • A powerful, categorized favorites menu that still keeps true to the original idea of a fast, non-intrusive way to access your essential items. Eight customizable hotkey groups allow to explore playstyles that were way too tedious before.
  • The Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) to support user-friendly in-game customization. It's not just used by SkyUI, but by hundreds of other mods as well.
  • Full-text search and highlighting of discovered locations on the map.
  • Active effects are displayed directly in the HUD, instead of having to constantly open the magic menu. Highly customizable.
  • Gamepad support, and intuitive and efficient keyboard navigation.
  • Multi-language support for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Czech and Japanese.

For a complete list, see the Features Overview.

Got it to work as well on Steamdeck on a fresh install. Here's exactly what I did.

Installed Skyrim and all of my workshop mods.
Launched Skyrim.
Went ahead and organized the workshop mods in data files (less than 40).
Start game, new game, get errors, quit game from steam menu.
Then searched for the SKSE tool on Steam and downloaded it.
(this step is probably skippable, but I'm listing it for posterity) Launched SKSE, start game, new game, get errors, quit game from steam menu.
Go to Desktop Mode and Launched Steam.
Went to SKSE and Browsed Local Files.
Copied EVERYTHING.
Back to Steam Library.
Went to Skyrim and Browsed Local Files.
Pasted all items into Skyrim folder.
When prompted by the Dialogue Pop-up, selected "Write Into" (on Windows I imagine this is something like "Merge").
Renamed the Skyrim_Launcher.exe and appended ".org" to the end (instead of just deleting it).
Renamed the SKSE .exe file to Skyrim_Launcher.exe
Closed everything and exited Desktop mode.
Launched Skyrim.

Can confirm the previous comment. Right-click your SKSE install in steam to go to local files, copy everything from the folder and place it in your Skyrim folder. Then use skse_loader.exe to start the game.

I got mine working by moving the steam version of the SKSE folder into my steam folder for skyrim. No error, and no "cannot find TESV" messages.

If it helps anyone, it's working fine here; I have regular edition game version 1.9.32, and am using SKSE 1.7.3. Other current SKSE versions don't work with 1.9.32, you need to get the 1.7.3. version from the link above under Installation. I started it once with the regular exe., to check the correct mods were checked to load, and then got a SKSE isn't running error, but it still worked fine anyways. Next, I re-launched with the SKSE loader, and no error now and it's still working fine. I did also try the SKYUI6 version from the other site, but couldn't get 6 to work, but 5 is still fine.
