Greetings from Redwood - a three point Payload map from the creator of Phoenix, Odyssey, Citadel, Altitude, and Cascade - featuring ziplines! These innovative devices give all classes the ability to rapidly traverse great vertical and horizontal distances, introducing a new layer of depth to movement and combat while allowing traditionally less mobile classes to keep up with fast-paced action across a sprawling forest of giant sequoias.

While certainly a powerful traversal tool, a zipline’s linear path between a predetermined start and end point also makes its user a highly exposed and predictable target. The mobility they offer also takes into account the user’s base movement speed, preserving the delicate balance of power between classes.

BLU has been tasked with navigating their payload through this dense grove of giants to destroy RED’s top secret communications tower, which has been ingeniously camouflaged to make it virtually indistinguishable from the surrounding forest.
